GLENN FRANKEL

Glenn Frankel is Senior VP, Head of North America P&C Claims. He oversees all property and casualty claims, including general liability, specialty lines, first party property, auto, workers’ compensation and legacy/mass tort.

 

Glenn joined Gen Re in May 2020, bringing with him extensive experience in the insurance and reinsurance space. He was most recently at CNA, where he led Complex Commercial Claims, including the Environmental and Mass Tort, Construction Defect and Life Sciences organizations. Prior to that, he was in various leadership roles at The Hartford, which included reinsurance (assumed, ceded and commutations), direct (asbestos, environmental, sexual molestation, construction defect, mass torts and multinational) responsibilities, including organizations domestically and in the U.K. Glenn started his career with the law firm of Day Pitney, and then as Managing Counsel at Travelers.

Glenn is also an ARIAS-US certified Arbitrator.

Glenn earned his J.D. from St. John's University School of Law (cum laude), and B.A. in economics from Wesleyan University.
