LAUREN JARRELL

Lauren Sheets Jarrell is ATRA’s Vice President & Counsel, Civil Justice Policy, a role she assumed in November 2023. She received her Bachelor of Arts degree from Georgetown University and her law degree, cum laude, from Georgetown University Law Center.  Among her responsibilities, she is lead author of the annual Judicial Hellholes report and manages the Association’s amicus program. She oversees the substantive policy activities in the public affairs space and develops and implements the Association's civil justice policy.  

 

While in law school, she served as a legal intern for Judge Joseph Beshouri of the Washington D.C. Superior Court and Judge Shirley Watts of the Baltimore City Circuit Court. She joined ATRA in 2010 as the Legislative Coordinator.  She is a member of the New York Bar.
